Samad Rubber Works Pvt Ltd has clarified that the recent boiler blast in Faisalabad did not occur at any of its facilities, terming any reports linking the company to the incident as incorrect.
“We are deeply saddened to hear about the tragic boiler blast in Faisalabad and extend our deepest condolences to the families affected,” read a statement.
The glue-maker clarified that the incident did not occur at Samad Bond Factory or any of its facilities.
“Our manufacturing units are only present in Lahore, and this incident has no connection to our company. All claims or reports suggesting otherwise are incorrect.
“We request media outlets and the public to rely on verified information and refrain from associating our name with this event,” it said, urging the public to rely only on its official communication channels.
The clarification comes after a horrific explosion in a glue factory on Friday killed 21 people in Faisalabad, while injuring dozens.
According to details, an explosion occurred due to gas leakage in a glue manufacturing factory located in the Malikpur area of Faisalabad. As a result of the explosion, a fire broke out in the chemicals stored in the factory, and the fire quickly spread to the surrounding factories and workshops.
