The upgraded aircraft from Emirates’ retrofit program are now entering scheduled service with enhanced cabins

Emirates will broaden the range of cities served by its refurbished Boeing 777 to include Seoul, South Korea, starting April 14 and London Stansted in the U.K. from May 7. This expansion comes as the aircraft featuring upgraded cabins emerge from Emirates’ retrofit program and enter scheduled service.

The four-class Boeing 777 from Emirates will commence operations on flights EK324/325 between Dubai and Seoul, running three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This deployment makes Seoul the second East Asian destination to welcome Emirates’ upgraded Boeing 777 retrofitted aircraft, which includes the award-winning Premium Economy and a newly configured Business Class cabin. This enhancement provides customers with greater choice and an improved experience while flying, according to a statement.

Expanded services for travelers

By July 2025, passengers traveling eastbound with Emirates will have access to over 3,150 weekly seats in Premium Economy across a mix of Boeing 777s and A380s, servicing six key destinations in Southeast and East Asia: Tokyo-Narita, Tokyo-Haneda, Osaka, Singapore, Seoul, and Shenzhen.

London Stansted will join London Heathrow and Edinburgh as the third U.K. destination to feature the airline’s latest generation products and elegantly refreshed cabin interiors. Besides London Stansted, the network of European destinations served by the four-class Boeing 777 includes Brussels, Geneva, Zurich, Vienna, and Athens.

Enhanced onboard experience

The retrofitted Emirates Boeing 777 aircraft further incorporates a four-class configuration, featuring Emirates’ signature Premium Economy cabins that blend accessible luxury with comfort.

The aircraft also showcases the new Emirates 777 Business Class, with seats arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, ensuring maximum privacy and aisle access for every passenger, along with fully flat beds and personal mini-bars. On select aircraft, First Class passengers can indulge in the exclusive Gamechanger suites, which offer unparalleled luxury, opulent comfort, and signature design elements.

Moreover, customers across all cabin classes will benefit from upgraded interiors, complete with new design features, modern color palettes, specially designed Ghaf Tree motifs, and wood finishes throughout.
