In a post on LinkedIn last month, Unitree sales manager Pedro Zheng invited people to “experience” the company’s “next-generation humanoids” at this year’s CES. Hangzhou-based Unitree showcased a variety of models, including humanoid and quadruped robots, at the show last year.
These firms are poised to compete for attention at the show against other major humanoid proponents, such as Massachusetts-based robotics pioneer Boston Dynamics, now owned by South Korean carmaker Hyundai. Last month, Boston Dynamics said its new Atlas humanoid would make its public debut at CES.
Other Chinese tech companies that are expected to exhibit at CES include smart eyewear vendors Rokid, Even Realities and XReal, the Chinese start-up behind Google’s first Android XR-powered augmented reality glasses.
