Liven Pharma Limited has entered into preliminary discussions with Hoover Pharma (Private) Limited regarding a “possible acquisition”. The company disclosed the development in its notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday.
“At this stage, both companies are exploring the viability and feasibility of such a transaction,” read the notice.
“The matter is currently under consideration, and no final decision has been taken. The discussions are of an exploratory nature and are subject to further evaluation, regulatory approvals, and the outcome of detailed due diligence.
“We emphasise that this communication should not be construed as a confirmation of any definitive agreement, arrangement, or commitment at this point in time,” it added.
Hoover Pharma is a Lahore-based company involved in the manufacturing of medicines and healthcare products.
Meanwhile, Liven Pharma Limited was incorporated in Pakistan as a private Limited Company on October 21, 1991 and was converted into a public limited company on April 30, 1992, under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (Repealed with the enactment of the Companies Act, 2017).
The principal activity of the company is the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and allied products.
