Damiral Imran listed his collection on social media, where he described it as “history, rarity and legacy in one vault”.
According to screenshots from Shiny, a global card-valuation tracker, Damiral’s full stockpile is worth about 2 million ringgit.
Damiral, who said he has already received offers as high as 1.68 million ringgit, also dangled a 50,000 ringgit commission to anyone who could help him find a buyer.
When asked by a social media user how much he spent on the collection, Damiral said it was around 1.62 million ringgit.
Photographs uploaded with his post show rows of Pokemon cards – expertly authenticated and rated for condition by the US-based Professional Sports Authenticator – neatly arranged on tables, each sealed in plastic cases.
