Every weekday the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer holds a “Morning Meeting” livestream at 10:20 a.m. ET. Here’s a recap of Wednesday’s key moments. 1. Markets inched higher Wednesday following Tuesday’s solid gains. Long-term Treasury yield also continued to rise following President Donald Trump’s latest effort to take control of the Federal Reserve. Trump said on Monday that he’s firing Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook; Cook has filed a lawsuit challenging the move. Meanwhile, investors are gearing up for Nvidia’s earnings after the market close. 2. “This is Nvidia day,” Jim Cramer said of the AI portfolio name , whose report tonight has far-reaching implications for the entire market, especially Club names like GE Vernova and Eaton , which are also involved in the AI trade. “Why Nvidia is so important is because it impacts not only the chipmakers, the hyperscalers, but also the industrials, the utilities, all of the investments going to build out those data centers and support those power needs and the equipment that’s involved in that,” said Jeff Marks, director of portfolio analysis for the Club. GE Vernova, for example, benefits by providing power solutions for energy-hungry AI hyperscalers. 3. Amazon’s cloud business AWS has the potential to grow its revenues by 20% in 2026, according to an analysis by Morgan Stanley analysts published Wednesday. “If that’s the case, I’m telling you I take it [the stock] to $250,” Jim said, noting that Morgan Stanley was the biggest critic of Amazon on its earnings call in July. Morgan Stanley pointed out that while Microsoft Azure outpaced AWS in capital expenditures by an estimated $5 billion to $6 billion per quarter in 2023 and 2024, AWS is catching up. According to analysts, Amazon’s ramp up in capex spend is “a bullish indicator of demand to come.” Jim added: “I was very happy with that Morgan Stanley piece. That made me feel much better about our largest position.” 4. Stocks covered in Wednesday’s rapid fire at the end of the video were: Okta , MongoDB , J M Smucker , Abercrombie & Fitch , and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store . (Jim Cramer’s Charitable Trust is long AMZN, NVDA, GEV, ETN . See here for a full list of the stocks.)
