Both parties explored long-term collaboration opportunities in AI, healthcare, and industrial development

His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, has placed significant emphasis on enhancing investment in AI and advanced tech during his discussions with U.S. President Donald Trump. During a dinner banquet organized at the White House in his honor, Sheikh Tahnoon extended the greetings of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Trump, expressing gratitude for his “warm welcome and reception.”

In a post on the social media platform X, Sheikh Tahnoon indicated that the talks primarily revolved around fortifying relationships in crucial sectors such as infrastructure, industries, energy, and healthcare. He added that “these sectors represent essential pillars of growth and sustainable development.”

Focus on future strategic partnership

“Our discussions focused on the future of the long-term strategic partnership between the two friendly countries, and strengthening our shared vision for prosperity and progress,” Sheikh Tahnoon further remarked.

“The approach of the leadership of the two countries and their economic policies represent an important incentive to encourage foreign direct investment and strengthen the existing economic partnership between the two countries.”

Enhancing economic and technological futures

Moreover, in a post on Truth Social, Trump mentioned that discussions with Sheikh Tahnoon explored “ways for our countries to increase our partnership for the advancing of our economic and technological futures.”

“The evening demonstrated the long-standing ties and bonds of friendship between our countries,” he wrote, adding, “UAE and the US have long been partners in the work to bring peace and security to the Middle East and the world.”
